Joyce oversees the management and governance of the Alexandria Fund. She brings a deep baseline of international expertise, with a career that spans cross-border internal control frameworks, and complex financial reporting across major global financial hubs. Prior to joining Alexandria Bancorp Limited, Joyce served as a Manager in Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) at KPMG in the Cayman Islands. In this role, she conducted internal control reviews and managed the preparation and audit processes of financial statements for large, complex investment fund groups, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and Lux GAAP frameworks.
Her foundational expertise in asset management and financial services was built through sequential roles within the Big Four accounting firms (EY Kenya, PwC Rwanda, PwC Jamaica and KPMG in the Cayman Islands). Joyce’s versatile background also includes specialized experience in the alternative risk sector, having worked as a Captive Insurance Manager at Risk Management Advisors (RMA) in the Cayman Islands.
Joyce holds a BSc. Actuarial Science degree and is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (“CIIPA”), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (“ACAMS”) and the Institute of Certified Accountants of Kenya (“ICPAK”).
